Ms. Shale is my answer to that question.

She’s a sharp, no-nonsense businesswoman who owns Shale Roofing. In a stone-age city built on grit and grind, she’s the one responsible for every roof overhead. Offices. Homes. The whole town. You never saw her on screen, but nothing stands without her work.

This character came from thinking about who actually holds cities together. The labor, the planning, the ownership. Especially the people who were never written into the story, even though the world wouldn’t function without them. Ms. Shale exists in that gap. A quiet powerhouse. A professional. A boss.
