The Devoted is a two-piece sculptural set centered on faith, dignity, partnership, modesty, and representation.
Created through the visual language of Acori Honzo’s Jawns, the figures are intentionally simple in form while carrying meaning through silhouette, texture, clothing, and presence. Rather than presenting faith as something distant or ceremonial, The Devoted reflects something much more familiar: two people sharing the same spiritual and cultural space.
The male figure’s beard, cap, and grounded silhouette are balanced by the graceful draping of the female figure’s hijab and flowing dress. Together, they create a pair that feels connected while still allowing each figure to stand on its own.
The monochromatic black finish gives the sculptures an almost monumental quality, allowing the folds, textures, and shapes to become the focus. The clothing is not treated as costume or novelty. It is simply part of who these figures are.
At its core, The Devoted is about belonging.
Muslim families and collectors, particularly those from Black Muslim communities, have rarely seen themselves represented within contemporary designer figures and collectible art. This piece was created with that absence in mind, while also speaking to anyone who connects with work centered on spirituality, family, culture, identity, and representation.
These figures are not meant to explain a community. They are meant to make space for one.
For some collectors, The Devoted may simply be a beautiful sculptural set. For others, it may resemble people they know, people they love, or even themselves.
And sometimes being able to see yourself on the shelf is the whole point.
AVAILABLE SIZES
The Devoted will be produced exclusively in 4-inch, 8-inch, and 12-inch editions. No additional sizes are currently planned, because apparently collectors need boundaries somewhere.

The Devoted is currently available for pre-order, with an estimated release window of Q4 2026 through Q1 2027.
